In this article you’ll discover:
- How the body likes to work for you – that’s right, it does!
- Why pellet therapy is beneficial!
- If there are any “Side Effects” with pellet therapy?
Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), has been shown to help the body go about the business of fixing itself. When you give your body the proper nutritional support, and optimize the hormonal balance in your body (There are many reasons as to why your body is just somehow is not manufacturing those hormones for itself anymore) most people see significant changes in how they feel in their body. I always like to ask, “Do we age because we lose our hormones, or do we lose our hormones because we age?” The answer is Both! And it is happening everywhere in our culture.
Fifty years ago, this conversation didn’t matter because we weren’t living this long. Fifty years ago people where leaving the planet when they were 55, 60, 65 years old. Today, we’re living to 75, 85, 95, 100 years old. The average age of menopause is 48 to 51 so that means, a woman could live half her life in menopause today. This is really why hormonal balance matters so much these days.
We have to bust the myths and get the proper information out about hormones. If you want to feel good in the body, don’t want the side effects of synthetic drugs (or synthetic hormones), don’t want the diseases, and don’t want to experience the same things that you see when you look around our culture today which is the result of the last 50 years of modern medicine’s tactics of dealing with these problems, then you have to do something different than everybody else and that is where hormone pellet therapy is a safe, effective, and easy solution for many of the issues we are facing in our health today.
Many people are using creams, patches, and pills to get some hormone going into their system, but they are inconvenient, and many times inconsistent and potentially ineffective in addressing the root causes of symptoms. With these other methods of BHRT you need to remember to do something every day; take a pill, change a patch, rub a cream on. With pellet therapy, women see the doctor 3 to 4 times per year. The pellets are inserted easily under the skin in the fatty area of the hip. It is an easy, simple, painless procedure that takes about 15 minutes in the doctor’s office and the best part is that it’s your specific dose that your body needs based on your blood work, your symptoms and your medical history. Pellet therapy is not a “one size fits all” approach, but rather a form of very personalized and individualized medicine.
When you achieve optimal physiologic levels of hormone balance there are really no side effects to speak of except, well you know, feeling really, really good for a change!
Sometimes, as your hormones transition from a state of imbalance to a state of optimal physiologic balance, you may have a little acne outbreak if you were incline to that as a teenager. It is very temporary and when you achieve that new state of hormonal balance, that potential side effect goes away. Women might have a little bit of water weight gain for the first 30 days or so and that’s easily treated as well. It just depends on how a woman’s or a man’s physiology is going to respond in that transition to a better state of hormonal balance. From my research, I see that less than 2% of the people experience any kind of negative temporary side effects from using BHRT with pellet therapy.
Some people may even reverse through some of the symptoms that they have had earlier in life and that have gone away. For a little while, they may feel a little bit worse before they feel better. Again, everybody’s physiology is a little bit different but there are no detrimental or debilitating side effects. Pellet therapy has been around since 1939 so there is a lot of evidence around the benefits. As in everything, it has to be done correctly so you need to find the right practitioner to help you out. I can help you with that if you would like.
Each one of those FDA-approved drugs that you see on TV every night during the news comes with a list of 20 to 25 side effects and none of them are fun, and death is usually one of them. But people take those drugs all the time. I can tell you that any drug that has ever killed anyone was at one point approved by the FDA so you might want to think a little about those drugs you may be consuming already. With pellet therapy, there are none of those nasty side effects at all, and there is no evidence that anyone has every died as a result of pellet therapy. My advice is to learn more about it, and see if if it may be a good fit for you.
